Mother queens have overwintered typically for at least one winter locally. Traits include Hygenic, VSH and Mite Biting. The strain is mixed, primarily Carniolan and Italian. They are “American” bees. |

All colonies in all apiaries are monitored to mites monthly. The colonies are only treated if needed. Mite monitoring is performed after treatment to verify treatment effectiveness. | |
