We run approximately 500 beehives, along with two donated observation hives at the Milwaukee County Zoo and the Milwaukee Public Schools Hawthorn Glen Nature Center. We are active with six farm markets every week in the season, along with various special events. We also supply a number of small bakeries and other outlets. We operate a beginning beekeeping class in February of each year, along with a free field day for new beekeepers. We conduct various beekeeping presentations around the area, as well as presentations at county bee meetings and state beekeeping conferences. |
