| What characteristics do you use to select your breeding stock?: | I have had 0 overwintering loss for two years. Great build up and large harvest. |
| Where is the source of your bees and what strain(s) are they?: | at least 50% survivor stock. A mix of carnolian and italian. Some caucasian tendency. some russian traits as well. A dark bee. |
| Where do the bees overwinter?: | the town of Macy Indiana. |
| Do the bees spend the whole season in your home location? If not, where do they go and when, and for how long?: | entire season in the Macy indiana area. |

| Anything else?: | bees build popilis and on a scale from 1-10 are about a 4 or 5 on aggression. a little more than i would like but not all hive act this way. depends on drones. often will get throw back queens. very dark and big. will send 2 queens to a few beekeepers within 150 miles of my location for shipping cost.I am looking for evaluation. I have only used my own queens and breed for 3 years now. |
