| We produce daughter queens from our selected queen stock that has overwintered successfully one or more Chicagoland winters. Besides overwintering the queens must also meet our criteria for honey production, temperament, and mite / disease resistance. We refer to the queens we produce as mutts and we don't focus on specific races but instead look to produce queens that have a variety of traits that allow them to build hives that grow and survive. | |
