| Minnesota hardy. Only breeding from overwintered survivor queens. No natural or artificial varroa treatments. Queens distributing uncapped and recapped brood. | |

| I used to with poor results back when I had to treat for Varroa. Now, if a hive lacks the ability to handle Varroa, it self-corrects by not surviving a Minnesota winter. Other than visual and chance sightings of Varroa in drone brood between boxes, I don't bother to look. | |
